Founder and Principal

As the leader of “Team Arsenal”, Doug works with all advisors on the team, advises clients on investment management and financial planning matters, curates Arsenal Financial’s Strategic Asset Management Portfolios, and directs ongoing plan monitoring for his clients.

Serving in the financial services industry for over two decades, Doug began his career in college at BayBank, followed by years as a Financial Advisor with American Express, Sovereign Bancorp, and Bank of America/Merrill Lynch. After serving as a Financial Advisor for a decade at larger companies the time came to build a company around his client’s financial planning needs. Arsenal Financial, LLC was established as an independent financial planning practice through a partnership with LPL Financial in 2010.

In 2019, Arsenal Financial was re-headquartered in Watertown, MA to focus on his local community and changing face of Watertown. In the same year, Doug Co-Founded the Watertown Business Coalition to help provide a platform for local businesses and professionals to connect, help one another and support the local economy. As a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor, Doug specializes in guiding clients through retirement transitions and income strategies. Holding Series 7, 24, 63, and 65 securities licenses through LPL Financial, Doug is passionate about his own ongoing professional education, so that he can continue to help clients solve problems, take action and build a nest egg for their future.

As someone who finds joy in helping others, Doug coaches kids and is on the board for Watertown Youth Baseball, stays active in the Watertown community and participates in the annual RIDE to End Alzheimer’s. Doug spends his free time with his wife, son, friends and family. Doug and family ride the roller coaster which is being a Red Sox and Celtics fan and spend many hours cheering for and helping Watertown youth sports teams. You may also run into Doug and family in New Hampshire where they make cameos as some of the older snowboarders on the mountain in the winter and hike the trails in other seasons in the Granite State!
